Event goers are invited to stroll, sip, sample, and shop their way through Downtown Grass Valley, with over 20 locations featuring food, wine, and good times. Tickets include unlimited wine and beer tasting, with over 30 varietals being poured, and five food tickets to allow you to sample local cuisine paired with the wine being offered at each location.

The Foothills Celebration is just the therapy you’ll need for a late winter weekend. Everyone is in good spirits and just glad to get out of the house. The great thing about this event is that rain or shine, it’s just as good. Over the last several years, Nevada County has really come into its own as a Mecca for small wineries, with 48 different varietals planted locally and 18 + wineries producing over 40,000 cases of wine annually.  Recently, Grass Valley has expanded its selection of micro-breweries and tap houses, including Thirsty Barrel, The Pour House, Grass Valley Brewing Company, and 1849. Other local and Nevada County breweries are included in the Foothills Celebration location map this year.
