Step into the festive spirit with the Victorian Christmas Nevada City event, one of Nevada County’s premier events of the year. This charming Gold Rush town, nestled in the snowy Sierra foothills, becomes a real-life Christmas wonderland throughout December. Alongside Grass Valley’s Cornish Christmas, these two events truly shine as the pinnacle of our holiday season.

What To Expect

Nevada City’s historic district closes down to motorized traffic, transporting everyone to a bygone era. Imagine charming hilly streets illuminated by twinkling white lights and genuine gas lamps. Breathing in the scent of chestnuts lingering in the air. Discover artisanal treasures from various vendors for those final Christmas gifts. Encounter bagpipers, minstrels, and carolers dressed in Victorian attire serenading the air with festive melodies. Above all, experience a delightful mix of visitors spreading holiday joy and goodwill.
