Truth or Dare Monday Cabaret

Truth or Dare Productions has made a strong impact on the nightlife of Nevada City and “take(s) performance art to a whole new level at their Monday Cabaret shows,” According to Valerie Costa, Special Selections Manager at the Prospector, “The Truth or Dare Troupe, which includes a rotating cast of dancers from Reno to San Francisco and beyond, delivered far beyond what would normally be expected from a Monday show in a small town, even by Nevada City’s high standards. Every act was more impressive than the last, with choreography, costumes and dancers that would look at home in a professional setting in a major city.”

Clue, the movie based on the popular board game, begins at a dinner party hosted by Wadsworth (Nick Fedoroff). These dinner party guests who have been given aliases, Mrs. Peacock (Roxie Rochambeau), Miss Scarlet (Cybil Unrest), Mr. Green (Sabrina Florence), professor Plum (Andria Starling), and Col. Mustard (Guy Vigor), along with the maid Yvette (Rebel Rose), and Mr. Boddy (Leon G. Ray), are all suspects when Boddy admits to blackmailing his visitors and turns up murdered, and together they try to figure out who among them is the killer.

VS.

Rocky Horror Picture Show, a humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror B-movies of the late 1940s through to the early 1970s, the musical tells the story of creation, love, hate, adventure, and most of all, sex; the story begins in Denton, Ohio as Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, after getting engaged, travel to see the man who began it! After getting caught in a storm and coming to the castle of a mad transvestite alien scientist from the planet Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania, Dr Frank-N-Furter, unveiling his new creation, a sort of Frankenstein-style monster in the form of an artificially made, fully grown, physically perfect muscle man named Rocky, complete “with blond hair and a tan.”

This is going to be a Murderous Time-Warp my friends! Come let loose with Truth or Dare and give in to the pure entertainment that is this night of hilarious, sexy fun.
