Bounty of the County Chef’s Competition in Grass Valley

Nevada County Grown is excited to announce it’s 6th Annual Bounty of the County fundraising event happening Thursday, August 23rd, at the Grass Valley Vets Hall. This year’s theme is a “Culinary Revival.” Come out and enjoy the talent of 13 of our finest local chefs as they prepare special dishes using ingredients sourced from our county’s farms and ranches. With almost half of the participants opening within the last year this is an excellent opportunity to explore the new arrivals to our food scene while also enjoying our old favorites.

All proceeds go towards the Nevada County Grown, supporting locally grown food from awesome community of farmers and ranchers.

Participating restaurants include: The Stone House, Diego’s, Meze Eatery, Briarpatch Co-op, Summer Thyme’s Bakery & Deli, Thirsty Barrel Tap House & Grille, Three Forks Bakery & Brewing company, Lake Wildwood Club House, Wild Eye Pub, Emily’s Catering & Cakes, Durga’s Divine Cafe, Heartwood Eatery and Brew Bakers Cafe.

You can enjoy a cash bar with cold brews provided by Grass Valley Brewery and Three Forks Bakery & Brewing Company. Nevada County Grown is also highlighting four of our distinguished local wineries: Avanguardia Wines, Double Oak Vineyards, Gray Pine Vineyard, and Lucchesi Vineyard & Winery.
