The Nevada City Farmers Market a Hot Spot for Locals and Visitors Alike

After nearly eleven years of providing the community with a fun, healthy and educational event each Saturday during the summer season of June-November and once per month during the winter, the Nevada City Farmers Market is attracting new faces while maintaining its mission to provide the community with the best-quality produce and goods in the area.

The market creates a weekly gathering that is looked forward to by people of all ages. Set in charming downtown Nevada City on Union Alley right off of the Broad Street Exit of Highway 20/49, the town’s historic past as a gold mining hub serves as a backdrop for foodies to stock up their kitchens with both tried and true favorites and new, unknown finds.

The market is popular with locals and visitors from all around the world. You can find positive reviews on Yelp such as from Caren H. of Antioch, Illinois writing “it was probably the nicest Farmer’s Market I have ever been to.” The Nevada City Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 8:30am-1:00pm June 2nd to November 18th and once per month on the first Saturday of the month during the rest of the year.
